State Chairman must submit all qualified athletes within 24
hours of the conclusion of State Championships. |

Procedure: |
The State Chairs will collect
the club entry forms by the conclusion of the
state meet. All club entries need to be mailed to Benji Stern at
eNeRGy Kidz. A copy of the official meet results marked with state
members and qualifying athletes should be mailed to Benji Stern and Kevin
White. In addition, state chairmen need to email a spreadsheet of
meet results (exported from scoring system) to Benji Stern (benjstern@ncmensgymnastics.com)
and TG Hawkins (thomas@meetcontrol.biz).
Each Club that has gymnast who qualify to the 2012
Region VIII Championship must fill out completely and accurately a CLUB
ENTRY FORM and turn this into your respective state chairman.

Format: |
Once again the Region VIII
Championship will be utilizing the Modified Capitol Cup format, also known
as the A/B format. This format is spectator friendly as it allows
one to see not only the competition, but also warm ups. Even more importantly, the athletes will
warm-up and compete on the same equipment. |
| Equipment: |
Midwest Gym Supply is the
official equipment supplier for the 2012 Region VIII Championship. They
will be providing two full sets of identical AAI equipment for the
competition. WE WILL BE UTILIZING THE NEW ELITE AAI POMMEL HORSE AT
REGIONALS. |
| Scoring: |
MeetControl will provide
scoring on the floor and LiveScoring will be on the web continuously
throughout the competition weekend. |
