Word of Mouth is an absolute necessity for our business and local surrounding businesses!

We have had to cancel our KidzArt classes for lack of interest.  We love being able to offer additional services for our customers and we like the idea of working with and supporting other local children's business owners. 

One of the businesses that are excited about supporting and working with is KinderMusic with Ms. Julie on Friday Mornings.  KinderMusic currently offers classes for children as young as 6 weeks to 7 years old at NRG.  This is a great opportunity for you to enjoy a fun activity with your child!  Class times are 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30am.  Please check out Ms. Julie's KinderMusic website for details and class availability.

Fall is here and that means it is time for the State Fair!  Make sure to have fun and eat some deep fried food for us.  It is also time for our "Halloween Maze" at the gym!  This is an event the children and staff look forward to every year!  The maze is set up with panel mats and will have tarps over it to make parts of it dark.  The children always have fun, but if anyone is scared of it, they do not have to go through it or their teacher can go with them.  There is nothing scary in the maze at all.  We set it up at this time of year and enjoy letting the students have some fun for all of their hard work so far.  Be on the look out for our Pumpkin Ghost, he may make an appearance again this year!  We will have to wait and see! 

We are happy to see that so many of you are taking advantage of the clean up clinics. They are a great way to help your child practice a skill that is proving difficult for them.  The clinics are helpful to learn a skill and to boost confidence.  The clinics focus on one or two particular skills.  Every drill is designed to teach and strengthen that skill.

Shawn Johnson (born January 19, 1992) was the 2008 Olympic women's balance beam gold medalist, the individual all-around silver medalist,the 2007 all-around World Champion, and the 2007 and 2008 U.S. all-around champion.

After the Olympics, Johnson became a television star, winning the championship on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” series, and appearing on a few other shows as a guest, judge or merely a celebrity. But when she was granted the honor of carrying the torch for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, she remembered the excitement of waiting for her chance to compete. 

Shawn made the announcment back in May that she will resume training with her coach for the 2012 Olympics in London.  She is still recovery from knee injury back in Febrauary while skiing with family, but her coach says that she is a fighter and determined to train.

Zoo Entertainment, Inc. (ZOOE:OB) is set to release Shawn Johnson Gymnastics, the first game on Nintendo Wii dedicated to gymnastics – the game will also be released on DS and DSiWare.

Compatible with the Wii Balance Board, the game will offer a truly realistic experience in the following gymnastics events: floor exercise, vault, balance beam and uneven parallel bars.  Release date on the game is set for November 2, 2010.
