In the next week or so, you should begin to see some small and then really big changes going on around the gym.  We have been working throughout the past year on expanding our building.  We will be building more gym space for our tramp and tumbling program and our new cheer leading program along with adding classroom space for our dance and our martial arts programs.  We are so looking forward to being able to offer all of the students of NRG a variety of activities in which they can grow their talents! 

Please be patient with us during this exciting time for NRG.  As all projects go, we are sure that there will be times that things may be busy or loud, but NRG strives to provide the best experience for your children and we will continue to do so during this wonderful time.  If you are interested in following the progress of the construction process, please see our facebook page!

Sifu Jason Hammond, a third degree black belt, is now teaching Shaolin-Do Kung Fu and Tai Chi at our location.   Anyone 18 or older can join us -- no experience necessary, all fitness levels welcome.  Shaolin Kung Fu includes the famous animal styles of Tiger, Monkey, Crane, Praying Mantis and lots of push ups! Be prepared to sweat!  The Kung Fu classes are Monday and Wednesday from 7-8PM and Saturday at 2:30PM.

Tai Chi is a gentle practice that focuses on clearing stress, calming the mind and relaxing the body.  Tai Chi classes are Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8PM and Saturday at 1:30PM.  

Sifu Jason is offering a discounted tuition to family members of NRG gymnasts and the first week of class is absolutely FREE, so come try it out! Be sure to ask for the NRG discount!

Fresh Healthy Vending has arrived at NRG!  We have been approached so many times over the years by customers requesting a vending machine and by vendors trying to get us to place theirs.  When Fresh Healthy Vending approached us we realized that this was a perfect match for us.  They offer a range of perishable products such as 100% Fresh juices, Smoothies, Yogurts and even fresh vegetables.  In addition they offer natural and organic snacks and a full range of drinks.  While we can't place all of the products they offer in our machine, they have tried to pick out what they feel would be best for the clientel that we serve.  If you have any feedback, please let us know and we hope that everyone enjoys the new machine!

We would like to apologize for any confusion that our promotion has caused.  The cards that you can give to your friends will allow any of your friends to sign up for any available classes for free.  PLEASE NOTE:  It does not guarantee a space is necessarily available in the same class your child is in.  Your friend will need to head to our website to register for an available class and then contact our office to let us know that they would like to take us up on the free class promotion.

Due to all of the confusion, we have had little response to our promotion and therefor we are unable to have a drawing at this time.  We will however have a drawing at the beginning of April regardless of the number of entries we receive.  Please let your friends know about our programs and get entered into our drawing for up to 2 FREE months of tuition!  Extra cards can be found on top of our magazine cabinet or by stopping by the office.

North Raleigh Gymnastics will partner with Kindermusik of Clayton again this spring session for Family Time classes on Friday mornings at 10:30 and 11:30am.  The new semester will offer a musical learning program for families with children ages newborn and up.  The classes are taught by Julie Stewart, an Kindermusik Educator.  Ms. Julie says, "this is a great way for parents with children of various ages to spend time together, doing one activity as a family."
